Abstract
This work presents the design proposal of a configurable semi-automated welding machine for pipes of different diameters ranging from 0.5 to 8 inches and lengths from 0.3 to 6.5 meters. This proposed design was carried out in different stages, from the collection of requirements through empirical and documentary information to determine the rotation speed that allows the process to adapt to the needs, to the machine development design in CAD that allows visualization of each of the components, both fixed and mobile, as well as their integration into the assembly. This proposal will allow an improvement in the pipe welding process of industries in the metal-mechanical sector.
