Abstract
Abstract: The objective of this systematic review is to validate the importance of the IPERC matrix in the reduction of occupational risks in a company. The PRISMA methodology was used, descriptive documentary type research, data collection techniques through document analysis and information search in virtual libraries, in reliable sources and databases such as Scopus, WoS, Scielo, Latindex, Redalyc and Dimensions; key words "IPERC matrix", and "occupational risks" were used. Forty-nine articles were selected, consisting of papers, scientific articles, doctoral theses, and master theses. The results were systematized in tables, figures, visual organizers, and a critical analysis was made of the selected articles. It was concluded that the application of the IPERC matrix significantly influences the reduction of occupational risks in a company because the prevention of occupational risks is directly related to greater productivity and competitiveness in companies that take prevention as an essential element within their business models; and most importantly, it will provide peace of mind to workers and their families knowing that the work they do is healthier and safer.
