Abstract
This research evaluates executive leadership in early education. To this end, it employed a qualitative approach methodology supported by bibliometric analysis, using the PBMI methodology. Information is collected from the Scopus database from 2011 to 2024, analyzing 76 documents, of which 49 are selected for their relevance to the topic . Research questions are formulated from bibliometric indicators using the "RStudio" programming language, including annual scientific production, main sources according to Bradford's Law, average citations per year, authors' production over time, and scientific production by countries. The results highlight the critical importance of executive leadership in improving educational quality and academic performance in early education. The need to strengthen effective school management skills, promote collaborative leadership, and integrate technology and innovation into educational processes is emphasized. In conclusion, the study offers a comprehensive view of the current state of executive leadership in early education, emphasizing the importance of developing and applying leadership skills to boost educational quality globally.
