Abstract

Entrepreneurship and its relationship with new technologies (NT) are crucial topics for understanding economic growth and social development. NTs present challenges and opportunities for entrepreneurs, influencing the creation and sustainability of long-term ventures. Digital transformation (DT) drives the emergence of new ventures and their growth by affecting traditional patterns and uncovering new frontiers. A deep understanding of this phenomenon is essential for designing policies and strategies that foster gender equality and economic progress. Bibliometric analysis emerges as a valuable tool for evaluating academic production on this topic, providing a quantitative and qualitative view of existing research. It facilitates the identification of trends, emerging themes, collaboration networks among researchers and institutions, and underexplored areas in the literature. Identifying influential authors and high-impact journals helps to understand the direction of research and guide future efforts. In this context, this study aims to analyze, through bibliometric analysis, the academic literature related to entrepreneurship and new technologies, with the goal of enriching general knowledge and promoting a more comprehensive understanding of female entrepreneurship.
