Abstract
The study carried out a theoretical review using various sources with the objective of identifying the importance of collaborative work in the university educational field during the digital era, given the need to live in a global society, which prioritizes teamwork and integral that is required to face the challenges of the present and the future, which have their foundations in education. Due to this, the study analyzed the theory associated with the variables in articles, videoconferences and books; whose information was integrated with the Peruvian reality, to finally theoretically expose that collaborative participation is essential for the fulfillment of the purposes of education, which in turn will influence more competent citizens, with collective values and capable of facing in a sustainable way a changing world.
