Abstract
The purpose of the study is to address one of the most urgent environmental problems, the increase in noise or harmful factors of sound generation. These problems are related to hearing loss caused by prolonged exposure to these high-intensity sounds, which affects the performance of various daily activities, as well as psychological factors. The purpose was to determine if there is a correlation between the economic evaluation of noise and the noise levels in the Carabayllo district, being of a non-experimental transversal nature and of a relational nature, so statistical methods such as correlation are used to determine the relationships between variables and dimensions using Microsoft Excel and IBM SPSS Statistics software. 26. Furthermore, the Spearman correlation method shows that there is a correlation between the variables; Analyzing the information through tables and graphs, it was concluded that the majority of respondents have a WTP of 47%, and the amount was S/. 4.00 – S/. 6.00 expressing a positive commitment to a noise reduction project. However, 23% of the total did not want to pay; evidencing a lack of environmental awareness in residents who have lived in the district the longest.
