Abstract
This research work was carried out with the objective of determining the influence of a virtual reality system in the training of personnel on risk prevention in an industrial company in the year 2022. The type of research was pre-experimental; with a sample of 12 workers of an industrial plant. Additionally, for data collection, tests and surveys were applied, then the XLSTAT statistical tool and the T-student test were used for data analysis. The dimensions involved in staff training on risk prevention were staff satisfaction and staff learning, while the dimensions involved in the virtual reality system were functional adequacy and usability. The results obtained showed that the development of a virtual reality system in staff training on risk prevention had a positive influence on the staff satisfaction and the staff learning of the workers in an industrial company. Based on the aforementioned, it was determined that the proposed virtual reality system, focused on risk prevention training had a positive influence on the learning of the company workers, thus mitigating accidents in the industrial company.
