Abstract
The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the dynamics of the construction sector and mortgage loans granted in the Peruvian financial system during the period from 2017 to 2023, for this purpose the research was quantitative in approach, correlational in scope and non-experimental design, the data were obtained from public statistical sources considering 83 monthly data between 2017 - 2023, for subsequent application of the non-parametric statistic of Kendall's rank coefficient. The results allow us to conclude that the dynamics of the construction sector has a positive and moderate relationship with the granting of mortgage loans by banks.
