Abstract
The main objective of this research was to determine the importance of coaching in the management of human talent in university teachers at a university in Lima. The methodology used is a qualitative approach, descriptive level, an interview guide was used as an instrument and the technique used was the interview, the sample was made up of 10 teachers from the Faculty of Engineering. Regarding the results, the majority of the teachers interviewed stated that the integration of coaching in talent management would benefit them both personally and professionally. Finally, it was concluded through a qualitative analysis that the integration of coaching in human talent management would enhance teaching talent, improving teacher performance and motivation, benefiting the entire educational community.
