Abstract
The purpose of this research work is to analyze and implement technical standards for planning and coordination in the virtual construction of investment projects of low and medium complexity. A non-experimental design of a descriptive - comparative level and of an applied type with a qualitative approach was applied. The study population and sample are two investment projects which were chosen for the convenience of the authors and are non-probabilistic. The instruments used were the documentation (2D plans, measurements and budgets) obtained from the technical files, Revit 2022 software (for modeling, information extraction and documentation), Dynamo 2022 (to optimize processes), Naviswork 2022 (for coordination 4D), Delphin Express 2022 (for the budget) and finally Microsoft Excel 2019 (for data analysis). The results show the optimization of resources (time - costs), increased productivity and improvement in modeling and coordination processes, through information management, thanks to the technical standards implemented which serve as guidelines, processes and recurring formats. that must be followed when the BIM methodology has to be applied in vertical infrastructure projects, since it allows us to have scope of how it is going to be done, so that it is going to be done and what is going to be obtained in order to meet the objectives of the project and maintain a synchronous language between the BIM team.
