Abstract

The research addresses the importance of scientific education in the formation of critical and responsible citizenship. It focuses on the Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) approach, which seeks to understand the implications of RRI and evaluate its impacts. The article proposes a dashboard metamodel to consolidate university and external research information, integrating data from systems such as Web of Science and Scopus. Indicators are structured for the dashboard, addressing aspects such as project proposals, degree projects, training activities and agreements. The influence of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) in strategic management is highlighted and an indicator management model based on the BSC is proposed to improve university research. Despite technological advances, the need to validate prototypes and provide deeper analysis of the results is recognized. The study contributes to the field of university research by proposing a comprehensive model that combines the perspective of RRI, the management of indicators and the influence of the CMI to strengthen decision making and the quality of research.
