Abstract
This study examines the effects of the business restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic on the profitability of Automotores de la Amazonia SAC. Using an interview, it was possible to know which were the main restrictions that affected the company. In addition, a calculation was made of the profitability ratios with and without business restrictions. The statistical test used was the comparison of means t student test with two variables, with and without business restrictions by covid-19. The results obtained show that the company already had profitability problems and that with the application of the covid-19 business restrictions the company suffered a decrease in its profitability, but this was not significant.
