Abstract
This document will examine the impact of an innovative pedagogical strategy on the development of cognitive skills in university students, with special attention to the field of engineering, at the beginning of their entrepreneurial training. A total of 278 notebooks created by students were collected for analysis, and an instrument was administered to 95% of the participants to gather their perceptions of the experience. 74.2% of the participants indicated that this was their first experience, in the case of engineering students, the percentage experiences a significant increase, reaching 78% as a first-time experience. When breaking down these data by gender, it is observed that this percentage rises to 82% among men and 70% among women. In general terms, the students expressed feeling comfortable when facing each of the seven proposed challenges.
