Abstract
The work describes the experience of students in the last semester of the CAPSTONE Software Engineering course in the implementation of software to optimize the accreditation process at the Professional School of Industrial Relations of the National University of San Agustín de Arequipa, within materials and methods The SCRUM methodology had to be adapted to adapt the work developed, the developed system demonstrated effective compliance with the quality standards required for accreditation, significantly improving document management, the lessons learned about the importance of effective communication stand out, the flexible and scalable software design, and interdisciplinary collaboration, from the study it can be concluded that the experience reinforces the viability of adapting agile methodologies in different contexts to respond to changing and complex needs.
