Abstract
The implications of an increasingly digitalized world and a hybrid education that has brought about the acceleration and obsolescence of knowledge and research makes it essential for university teachers to adapt these new technologies and, in turn, face psychological problems such as techno-stress. The objective of the study was to determine the levels of incidence of technostress as psychological ´phenomena in relation to the research culture in university teachers. The research strategy was focused on a non-experimental causal-explanatory design. The sample made up of 87 randomly selected teachers from a public university reports the results after the linear regression analysis showing that the coefficient of determination (R squared) indicates that the model is capable of explaining 75% variation with negative trend in research culture due to technostress.
