Abstract

This project highlights the importance of social events and mobile technology in their management. A mobile application for planning events in the Azuero region was developed, applying heuristics to improve usability. The app highlights the local culture and offers a personalized and friendly platform. The economic and sustainable benefits of encouraging local participation and attracting visitors are mentioned. To carry out the project, it was divided into stages such as: requirements analysis, interface design and usability tests using the SUS scale (System Usability Scale). The research focused on the usability of the application and the impact on new entrepreneurs. The Figma tool for graphical interface design was changed, considering Nielsen's heuristic principles. Among the results obtained are: a user interface validated by 9 users where its usability was measured, this application offers entrepreneurs opportunities for an online business model since it will provide them with visibility, effective promotion, efficient management, feedback and reputation, as well as a network of contacts and ease of payment, reaching a wide and diverse audience.
