Abstract
The research is titled "High resistance bricks elaborated with cast plastic and sand, Cajamarca 2023". This study was developed in the city of Cajamarca. The objective is to determine the compression resistance of bricks made with melted plastic and sand, Cajamarca, 2023. The type of research is experimental with an applied research level. As a result, the highest compression resistance of the bricks in the dosage based on 50% melted plastic and 50% sand, for day 28, is located in the interval of type V brick (180 kg/cm2), according to the Peruvian standard E.070. It is concluded that the most favorable dosage is 50%: 50%, based on melted plastic and sand respectively, is the one that presents the most resistance to compression (168.734 kg/cm) than the 60% and sand 40% dosage (148.560 kg/cm2) and 70% dosage and sand 30% (139.647 kg/cm2) of the same day of having been made, consequently, the initially proposed hypothesis is demonstrated. This research will benefit the entire region by contributing to urban development through the production of bricks based on recycled plastic with sand in various dosages, to improve the resistance capacity of masonry units and consequently better constructions in the civil sector. In addition, this novel research will serve as bibliographic references in similar studies.
