Abstract
The objective of the research was to design a strategic model for the logistics of a company in the construction sector, through a non-experimental - transversal methodology, using techniques such as surveys, interviews, whose instruments were interview guides and questionnaires applied to a sample of 10 collaborators in the logistics area that allowed the collection of information for subsequent analysis. It was determined that 36% of products are not rejected to suppliers and 63.6% sometimes. Inventory turnover is less than 2 times per year and with regard to task compliance, only 27.3% of the time is fulfilled and 72.7% from time to time, establishing that they usually do not comply with assigned activities. The strategic plan focused on logistics was carried out. The results show that the company is well positioned internally and externally, with greater strengths and opportunities, but with deficiencies. It was established that the company must maintain a strong position in a rapidly growing market, adopting strategies such as market penetration and horizontal integration. In conclusion, the strategic plan provides greater competitiveness and improvements in the logistics and commercial areas associated with the fulfillment of organizational objectives
