Abstract

With the arrival of Industry 4.0, new technologies are introduced for industries or for companies that are dedicated to the manufacture of products, this concept is very well received by all global companies, but in countries like Honduras, which are in a development path, there are complications for the implementation of these various technologies, so this article aims to open a field that is practically non-explored and non-existent in Honduras, which is to apply the technologies of Industry 4.0 in warehouses of companies. The objective is to project an inventory management with drones, possibly trying to find flaws in the traditional method of carrying out an inventory in warehouses with racks. For this purpose, various statistical methods were used to seek improvements with the drone method. The most important results can be analyzed in how a company when implementing a drone can have very large savings in a monetary and operational way and in how its use can facilitate the carrying out of inventories within warehouses in companies in Honduras.
