Abstract
The objective of this project is to create a model / prototype of a braking system by injection of direct current to three-phase induction motors, with the purpose of providing braking solutions that are easier to apply and that further ensure the integrity of the motor to be applied. The type of braking to use varies depending on the type of motor, the application in which it is used and the braking need of the application. DC injection braking is a smooth-acting braking applied to AC electric motors. The latter has a certain advantage over other types of mechanical brakes, since it does not cause wear due to friction, in comparison they are easier to install, they have a lower equipment cost and the versatility they present.
