Abstract
In this work, the existence of data and indicators that allow identifying and measuring the gender gap in Colombian Engineering Faculties is studied and analyzed. Through information obtained from primary sources (Deans of these Faculties), it is evident that in Colombia, as in the rest of the world, there is a lack of data discriminated by gender in relation to the participation of women in leadership roles: student, professor, researcher and director. However, there are some initiatives that make it possible to reduce the gender gap and that are likely to be adopted by other institutions through collaborative work networks.
