Abstract
The order entry process in the Biomedical Department becomes a problem due to the high consumption of time and paper it requires. Using databases, official documents, questionnaires and interviews, information was gathered about the reasons why an optimization of this process was necessary. Using PowerApps and OneDrive tools, an application was implemented with which the department's work orders could be filled out and documented digitally. For this, the formats already established within the department were adapted, defining processes before and after the application, and time measurements were taken. The time invested in the new order entry process was measured. A time reduction of 67% was observed, proving the effectiveness of the application by streamlining the order entry process.
