Abstract
This article presents a research analyst focused on the study of the physical limitations of adolescents suffering from spastic cerebral palsy level II and III, in order to determine the effectiveness of robotic assistive devices, as rehabilitation treatment of upper limbs, providing possible solutions to improve mobility and reduce muscle stiffness from repetitive therapies, contributing to the improvement of gross motor skills. For the development of this study, a robot with 6 degrees of freedom was designed in Solidworks® software, then a mathematical analysis was performed to demonstrate the functionality of the robot, by means of direct and inverse kinematics method, and simulations developed in Matlab® and Webots® software, where it is evidenced that the robot behavior is safe for the patient and contributes to the patient's rehabilitation.
