Abstract
This paper addresses the importance of quality assurance in higher education, based on different models or reference frameworks, in search of improving teaching/learning processes also external recognition represented in certifications or accreditations, both by national and international evaluation agencies. For this reason, many institutions are faced with developing parallel processes, which implies working simultaneously with various quality criteria and sets of indicators, a situation that generates tensions for those responsible for the processes, as they are faced with overloads due to differentiated procedures or the use of multiple documentary systems, among others. Given this, it is proposed to establish a strategic scheme that allows harmonizing the indicators of the multiple references of quality assurance; It takes place in an institution with which a study case is configured
