Abstract

The canned chicken industry is considered one of the main sectors in the country. Due to the increase in the production of chicken meat for sale in different forms, including the production of canned chicken, both nationally and internationally, a canning company must improve its productivity to achieve a better market share, focusing on quality, performance and availability of machinery through production planning. This research can be used by companies engaged in the production of canned chicken and all kinds of canned food, as well as different other companies in different economic sectors, where production planning depends on scheduled and unscheduled stops for proper maintenance planning. The proposed model based on the TPM methodology helps to increase the performance factor index from 77.11% to 89.44%, increasing the OEE from 64.66% to 79.69%. The use of the standardization tool achieves the reduction of corrective maintenance management time. The use of the SMED tool helps equipment management to level the working speed index in the production line and the maintenance planning tool focuses on configuring the total system of preventive, autonomous and corrective maintenance as prevention and establishes continuous production with less downtime.
