Abstract
The work carried out seeks to determine how simulation modeling of preventive maintenance management influences productivity in a carton board company. The research is applied, with non-experimental design and quantitative approach, the population the production of egg trays for 26 days. The technique used is the documentary analysis and the instruments the data collection records. The use of the Cystal Ball Software for simulation in preventive maintenance calculations allowed us to see that, if it is applied, productivity increased to 61.84%, as well as efficiency and effectiveness at 73.85% and 83.53% respectively. As conclussion, it has been demostrated that preventive maintenance management on machines will improve productivity in organizations.
