Abstract

The research is based on designing an installed capacity planning system in a food company, which presents problems of planning its installed capacity in its headquarters and aligning it in the different horizons; strategic, tactical and operational, this will depend on the type of demand, capacity projections, inventories, process restrictions, plant availability and the workforce, in capacity planning, it manifests itself as a process of continuous improvement, this system helped the company to channel its capacities in its different plants
