Abstract
The objective of this research is to evaluate as an educational tool a prototype of a swarm of autonomous robots for the improvement of robotics learning and the application of neural network concepts. Low-cost equipment and materials based on the Node MCU Esp8266 microcontroller were used for the construction of the swarm. At the end of the work, a robust, scalable and flexible swarm model should be available that allows combining several specific behaviors, which can be selected autonomously depending on the environment, and that can be transferred to physical robotic systems with the aim of solve different tasks related to different application areas in real environments.
