Abstract

The main objective of this research is to determine whether the management of safety standards effectively influences occupational hazards in a private Peruvian clinic. The methodology used was a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design and a correlational scope. The instruments used for data collection and study were the OSHMS register and the IPERC matrix. As a result, these instruments were found to be reliable for use, as the variable indicators gave values greater than 0.75. For the analysis of the hypotheses, Pearson's statistical tests and a regression analysis were used. It was concluded that the indicators of Safety Standards Management have a clear influence on occupational risks in the Resurrection Clinic because the effects have a considerable dependence.
