Abstract
In the mostly countries in the world, women are fewer in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics - STEM. In this way it is important to carry out projects so that women are encouraged in this area. Some countries carry out these actions, as technology will be a sector that will have many jobs, requiring people with technical capacity. In this way, this article aims to present the project, its application and the gains observed. The project was carried out with a group of 23 young women from public schools and the university, working over a year on various topics related to Science and Technology. At the end of the project, almost all the students from the schools consider continue your studies in the area of Science and Technology, attesting that actions of this type are important to encourage greater participation of women in STEM.
