Abstract

At the beginning of 2020, the pandemic began due to COVID 19, where the teaching-learning modality had the need to carry out a total restructuring, which is why virtuality began as the main source of teaching. Currently, due to the continuation of the social isolation dictated by the government, it has been possible to show in our house of studies that the performance of teachers is affected by this new modality. That is why the present work is dedicated to analyzing the relationship between virtuality, in the context of the COVID 19 pandemic, and the performance of teachers at the Autonomous University of Peru. For this, a sample of 50 teachers who carried out academic activities in the semester 2021 - II was used. Using a questionnaire built and validated by expert judgment and reliability using Cronbach's Alpha in the SPSS program; results were recorded regarding the academic-technical-digital, socio-emotional and physical-mental health dimensions. The results show that there is a significant positive average relationship between virtuality in the context of the pandemic and the performance of teachers at the Autonomous University of Peru.
