Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the contribution of the scientific, academic, and business productivity disclosed, through the LACCEI International Multi-Conference for Engineering, Education, and Technology between 2017 and 2021, to the core of knowledge in engineering, education, and technology. The methodological design used includes the use of scientometrics and the analysis of scientific trends for the construction of analysis networks, thematic maps, and scientific landscapes. The analysis makes it possible to identify the participation and interaction at the levels of researchers, organizations, and countries, the main areas of work (clusters), and the specific trends that guide future research scenarios. Finally, the analysis of the contribution of the core of knowledge contributes to mapping relevant actors, motor, specialized, emerging, and decadent lines of research, as well as establishing the scientometric footprint of the Laccei community for Latin America.
