Abstract
This study proposes a guide for the design of lead core elastomeric isolators (LRB) for countries that do not have a seismic isolator standard that complies with the design parameters of the isolator. Certain criteria of two South American standards, a North American standard and an Oceania standard were followed and consolidated in order to create a guide for the design of isolators in countries that do not have a seismic isolator standard. To verify this study, the designs of the seismic spectra of each standard have been made, using the design and parameters of the proposed guide, and it has been verified that they comply with the design of the isolated structure with respect to the standard of each country in which the seismic spectrum was made. As a result, the drifts, displacements and accelerations have been obtained to verify that each standard has a different behavior.
