Abstract

Due to the presence of Covid - 19 that we are currently facing, companies have decided to stop their production process or reduce their commercialization to avoid massive losses, which is why the company SEGUSA S.A.C. you need to improve the profitability of the business. The objective is to determine the proposal for improvement in the quality area to increase profitability in the company SEGUSA S.A.C. The hypothesis proposed for this research project is that the improvement proposal in the quality area will increase profitability in the company SEGUSA S.A.C. the dependent variable is the profitability of the company and the independent variable is the proposal for improvement in the quality area. A quantitative and purposeful investigation was carried out. The tools: QFD, AMFE and SIX SIGMA were used to improve the current situation of the company and increase its profitability. In addition, statistical tests such as Ishikawa, matrix of indicators, trend measures, histograms and statistical control charts were used. In the results, a benefit of S /. 121,455.00 with a return of 34%. Therefore, it is concluded that the implementation of improvement tools in the quality area in the company SEGUSA SAC increases the profitability of the company.
