Abstract
An electronic plastic container cutter system was designed following the basic principle of industrial automation. The system was designed with the families and businesses harmed by the adulteration and counterfeiting of plastic containers in mind, having a design that is easy to handle and transport. To carry out the design, (i) the hardness of the material to be cut, (ii) the appropriate sensors for the application, (iii) and the appropriate type of controller were considered. Regarding the electronic analysis, it was decided to use the Proteus commercial software to validate the data obtained from the force sensors, amplifiers, and the good functioning of the system in general. The results presented validate the calculations carried out, guaranteeing the proper functioning of the system. Finally, it is concluded that the designed system is feasible and that it will meet the requirements that arise, being of great support against the adulteration of plastic containers.
