Abstract

The present study was developed in the footwear manufacturing company "Rambel E.I.R.L.", With the aim of reducing operating costs in the production areas. The company data were obtained through the interview. The improvement plan was designed including the tools: 5S, FMEA, P control chart and Preventive maintenance. The improvement plan was simulated in the ProModel 2016 software, using the data that was calculated for the financial analysis of each proposed tool. The results obtained were: It was possible to increase the units produced by 761 units and reduce the defective units to 65, reprocessed to 28 and rejected to 37. The profitability of the improvement plan was demonstrated with a NPV of S /.12,956 and an IRR of 22.10%.
