Abstract
This research work was aimed at determining the influence of the proposed improvement of logistics management on the reduction of logistics costs of Calzados Amer in Trujillo. The design is pre-experimental, where a reliable questionnaire (Cronbach's Alpha of 0.90) was applied to the collaborators of the logistics process. Also, an interview guide, an observation guide and a documentary collection sheet were taken as data collection instruments. The structure of the model was divided into 4 fundamental stages: Diagnosis of the company, Diagnosis of the problem of logistics management, Design of the proposal, Economic analysis. It is concluded that the proposal to improve logistics management managed to reduce 31.6% of the logistics costs of Calzados Amer. Finally, the economic impact of the application obtained a NPV of S/. 38,839.43, an IRR of 81.49%, an investment recovery period of 1.9 years and a cost benefit of 2.8, this means that for every 1 sole invested the company earns 1.8 soles; which determines the profitability and economic viability of the proposal.
