Abstract
One of the main causes of low consumption of fresh shelled corn is the cost of labor and labor accidents caused by shelling with sharp tools. On the other hand, customers prefer to buy shelled corn because it facilitates the preparation of various dishes, but they often cannot find it in the markets. Therefore, the objective is to propose the design of an automatic processor to increase the production of shelled fresh corn. This automatic processor shells, weighs and packages the fresh corn kernels, prioritizing product quality, time and presentation. In addition, no operator intervention is required throughout this process. A prototype was implemented and simulations were performed in computer aided design programs, as well as the use of Proteus Design Suite, for the electronic part.
