Abstract
The general objective of this research work was to determine the production of organic fertilizer from the segregation of municipal solid waste in the district of Julcán, La Libertad, year 2020-2021. The type of methodology is retrospective since it works with data reported from August 2020 to July 2021 in terms of monthly production. The study has a longitudinal design approach. The data collection was carried out through the registration form and the registration of the fertilizer data produced monthly was modified. Therefore, it is concluded that the district has an average monthly fertilizer production of 1.3 tons. Based on the different types of waste, it is possible to characterize the waste as: unusable (20.94%), organic (57.35%), and inorganic (21.61%). This production gives rise to different applications in improvement projects such as reforestation and agriculture. Finally, a proposal for a recovery plant was made based on the production of the waste generated in the Julcan district.
