Abstract
In the Research, the objective was to determine to what extent the Lean Manufacturing methodology improves the productivity of the MYPES of the graphic sector and it was worked based on the company Gráfica Fénix S.R.L. The study was carried out under the quantitative approach, with an applied experimental research design, of a pre-experimental type since it is characterized by the exploration of the application or use of the knowledge acquired. The technique used was observation, the instrument being the observation sheet. Likewise, the objectives set in the reduction of time of activities that did not add value, the application of the 5S tool and the distribution of the plant were met. Regarding the times of the activities, it was observed that before this was 38 minutes and after the implementation of the methodology it is 20 minutes. Regarding the productivity results, it was observed that the average pre productivity is 0.55 and the post productivity is 0.82, being equivalent to a 27% increase in productivity.
