Abstract
The purpose of the research is to propose a construction material based on the Technical Standard E-070 Masonry considering Argopecten purpuratus to reduce contamination of the Casma landfill, 2021. The methodology is descriptive and propositive, it consisted of a field visit to diagnose the environmental impacts with the support of the CONAM Methodology and Leopold Matrix, as well as a documentary review of different investigations regarding Argopecten purpuratus as a material, where the data were processed in Excel and SPSS, and finally, the proposal with the modeling done in LabView and its action plan. As a result, a type III concrete brick was proposed with a dimension of 13x9x20cm, with 10% replacement of Argopecten purpuratus in fine aggregates with a mix design of 1:1.95:0.22:1.79/27.51 lt/sack. As conclusions, the Casma landfill needs to valorize its hydrobiological waste, for this reason a proposal was made based on Argopecten purpuratus as a construction material articulating with the Technical Standard E-070 of Masonry and 10% replacement in fine aggregates, which has a production cost in Casma that amounts to S/. 1,412,611 for the year 2021 and 1,544,095 for 2025.
