Abstract

The objective of the research is to know the quality and suitability of land use in agriculture, through a systematic review between the years 2010 and 2020. The PRISMA methodology was used, where 80 articles were collected from Ebsco, Scopus, ProQuest, Scielo , Dialnet, Redalyc and Google Scholar; The search strategies were carried out using keywords in both Spanish and English. Subsequently, for the analysis of information, the inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied, leaving 50 articles incorporated and 30 discarded. Likewise, according to our first variable, physical, chemical and biological parameters and indicators that determine soil quality were identified. Regarding the second variable, spatial and satellite images are the most used using GIS software. Finally, it is concluded that the study of the quality and suitability of soil use is essential to achieve efficient and sustainable agriculture.
