Abstract
Currently, there is much ignorance of the influence of ICTs as health tools; the necessary technology and information is not disseminated. The objective of this review was to identify the influence of ICT as health tools (eHealth), conducting a systematic review of the literature based on the results of the databases: Ebsco, Google Scholar, Scielo and Redalyc, using the key terms "technological advancement", "ICT health", "eHealth", "mHealth", "tHealth" and "TICS on eHealth". We included literature reviews, original articles and reports published between 2010 and 2020, written in Spanish and English. The initial search yielded 40 articles, of which, after eliminating duplicate articles and those with the presence of exclusion criteria, 24 articles were selected that were included in the review. Papers on the influence of ICTs as health tools include advantages and disadvantages of their implementation. Under the written literature, this article wishes to promote the use of eHealth given the benefits it offers to patients, professionals, and entities responsible for providing health services. It was possible to identify the influence of eHealth, making known the advantages and disadvantages that come with its use and implementation.
