Abstract:When we speak about skills it will be complicated because it is necessary to say what do you refer and in what context. When speaking of engineering skills we think what needs our society, then we must think of integral human development. The first years at an engineering career are the more appropriate for forming the skills they need. It is the time they are ready and expecting for new situations. It is our job to help them to acquire those skills they will need. Effective communication is an important skill and it is better if we can do it integrating a second idiom. Active methodology gives us an opportunity to help them in that task. Then is our responsibility chose the appropriate methodology for achieving the objectives and answer the question: What skills do we need to form in them? |
