Abstract:Communication is paramount for relaying information. Manufacturers rely heavily on business practices that are clearly communicated. As new products are designed, drawings and sketches are utilized to communicate form, fit, and function. Visualization techniques and practices are critical for understanding and effective communication. This paper presents an instructional tutorial for utilizing parametric modeling to enhance the design and visualization of engineering mechanics. Real world examples are modeled and simulated using Creo Parametric ver. 4.0. |
