Abstract:

The social dynamics generated by scientific and technological advances requires the application of pedagogical strategies that guarantee meaningful learning. This paper presents the results of an experience in the classroom, in which reverse engineering was included to support the teaching and learning process. As an empirical research method, the case study was used. The results indicate that the reverse engineering served the teacher as a work tool and the student as an instrument of motivation. It is concluded that the reverse engineering served as a didactic tool that contributed to the students constructing meaningful learning.
