Abstract: Urban noise generated by vehicular traffic was studied through the collection of noise and traffic information in ten points within the city of Guayaquil, distributed in residential, commercial, hospital, educational and industrial areas. More than 18,000 noise data were processed and then analyzed statistically to find strong correlations.
