Abstract:

The present article comprises the implementation of a Spectrometer in the range of visible light applicable specifically to the measurement of concentration of methanol in commercial alcoholic beverages. This device will have differentiating elements compared to those available in the market such as portability, control and display of parameters and measurements from a Smartphone with Android operating system and the ability to communicate with a web application through the Smartphone. This Web application will serve as a database, as a display element and as a data analysis element.
