| Smart-Tag is an innovative tool where the use of mobile devices for administration of the livestock sector is combined through the use of QR codes. This helps the owners or managers of farms, and ranches to have better control of cattle herds they possess. Through the use of an application that does not need a computer or mobile data usage to operate. As mentioned before, Smart-Tag will make easy the livestock care and management, reducing possible monetary losses by increasing production rates.
The smart-tag use is practical, simple and innovative through reading identifiers earrings that will put the cattle which will feature a different QR code, making it a very useful tool to the livestock sector, becoming an option entirely feasible where the manager can contact with his veterinarian to programming consultation and keeping scheduled receiving constant reminders on your mobile device, warning him in advance when required to apply a vaccine or a bath, with a specific herd or certain animals.

| Smart-Tag es una herramienta novedosa y vanguardista donde se combina el uso de dispositivos móviles para la administración del sector pecuario a través del uso de códigos QR, esto sirve de ayuda a los dueños o administradores de fincas o ranchos para tener un mejor control de los hatos ganaderos que poseen a través del uso de una aplicación móvil (App) que no necesita de una computadora o del uso de datos móviles para su funcionamiento. Con lo mencionado anteriormente Smart-Tag facilitara el cuidado y administración de ganado pecuario, reduciendo posibles pérdidas monetarias e incrementando los índices de producción. Entre los atributos más destacables de la App se encuentra la manipulación y control de un historial clínico del ganado, la administración de vacunas que se deben aplicar, así como calendarizar los días en que se les dará aseo (baños al ganado), las posibles enfermedades que se pueden presentarse en algún animal, y la elaboración de alimentos, entre otras funciones.
