Providing managers with control tools has always been useful, as time is a limited resource. The main purpose of
this article is providing project managers with an only, user friendly and always available tool, to get constant
feedback and to continuously assess objectives performance. Our objective is that the proposed model, based on
the Balance Scorecard model, could include all relevant inputs and corporate or personal objectives, as well as it
could take into account the impact that the project manager´s job has on society. Leadership has been considered
as a key personal competence for executives in their project manager role.
